Advanced Babysitter Training is a 16 hour course designed to assist you in providing the best possible care to both infants and children. How to effectively react in an emergency, recognizing and handling specific behaviors and tips for keeping children safe are just some of the topics that will be discussed. In addition, completion of this course will result in becoming certified in Pediatric CPR/AED and basic first aid, as well as how to safely use an Epi-pen.

ASHI Pediatric CPR/AED First AId:

The goal of the HSI Pediatric First Aid | CPR AED training program is for participants to gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency in pediatric first aid and/or CPR AED for adult, child, and infant.

This program includes flexible instructional tools for developing proficiency via demonstration and prompted practice, including scenario-based problem-solving exercises with feedback.

HSI Pediatric First Aid | CPR AED reflects the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), and it conforms with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the annual Guidelines Update.

Child and Babysitting Safety:

The HSI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. HSI CABS teaches how to start a babysitting business, interact with parents and children, and provides important safety and first aid information using the latest 2020 guidelines.

Epi Pen & Auto Injector Use:

The Use and Administration of Epinephrine Auto-Injectors program teaches students about the causes of severe allergic reactions and how to recognize and treat anaphylaxis. It covers how to use an epinephrine auto-injector, the legal considerations for administering epinephrine, and how to prepare for an anaphylactic emergency.

 

This feature is only for persons already certified as American Heart Association BLS Instructors.

Basic Life Support (BLS) This is the course for the healthcare provider mandatory certification.

Students must provide their own pocket face mask, or purchase one of ours on site for $20.00

We have high quality adult/pediatric facemasks available for your purchase. You use it, and you keep it.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced course that builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. and high-performance team dynamics.

This one-day refresher course is designed for those professionals who have a solid understanding of the ACLS course content.  *In order to qualify for an ACLS Refresher course, you must possess a current certification.  Certification that has been expired for greater than two months will not be valid.  A copy of your current certification will be required to confirm your attendance at a refresher course.

In order to register for this course you must be current in your AHA BLS status and be proficient in all skills related to AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

ASHI Wilderness First Aid is the ideal course for Coaches, Boaters, Hunters, Preppers, outdoor enthusiasts on overnight or short-term wilderness adventures. Students will be able to recognize medical emergencies and will become familiar with basic life-saving skills, patient assessment, and basic field care for common injuries.

Wilderness environments create special situations not usually encountered in an urban or suburban environment. With the Wilderness First Aid class, first aid providers in a remote outdoor setting will be better prepared to respond with wilderness first aid training when faced with limited resources, longer times to care for someone, and decisions about when and how fast to evacuate an ill or injured person.

This comprehensive 16-hour wilderness first aid course meets or exceeds the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, 2017 Edition.
